hmmmm....
what to rant about for this post?
Surprisingly I am not in the ranty-ish mood.
Well some good news:
I have a new bestest friend.
Her name is Alex and she's a freshman at Xavier.
And she's Connor's new girlfriend.
And Connor is my ex.
No I am not going to attempt to break them up.
That's childish and stupid.
And besides I'm really good friends with both of them.
And since I know longer have feelings for Connor it would be pointless.
But yeah.
I think it makes Connor uncomfortable that I've gotten close with Alex.
Oh well.
lol
Sooooooo.....
OH!
Funny-ish story.
So about 3 weeks ago, I was at work, on a Saturday, and they let me off like an hour early, so I decided to drive to the mall, which I could've easily walked, but it was freakin cold so I was like, screw that.
Well after walking the mall for about half an hour, I went back out to my car, to find out I locked my keys in.
-_-
So I had to walk back to Burger King, and I asked my manager-slash-friend, Ben if he knew how to break into a car.
He sorta gave me a weird look and said, "No, that's Andy's expertise."
Sadly Andy wasn't working.
So Ben told me to call him.
There were 2 problems with that.
1. I didn't have Andy's number.
2. I locked my phone in my car.
So I had to call my mom from the BK phone.
Let's just say she wasn't a happy camper.
Cuz the freezing rain started.
And we live all the way by Westdale, and I work near Lindale.
So it took her like an hour and ten minutes to get there, and we had to call my grama, who had to call an emergency lock smith.
Let's just say my grama isn't a really hastey person.
So she called the lock smith, and my mom and I waited at the mall for 40 minutes, when the person finally arrived.
We tried to open my car for like 20 minutes.
And we found out that the woman wasn't the actual lock smith.
She was his wife.
He was busy making supper.
My mom and I were pretty pissed.
So we left my car at the mall, and my mom had to drive me to work in the morning.
They eventually got my car open, Sunday morning, and they only charged us the price for a weekday.
The entire time my mom was like, "I told you not to lock your doors in the winter."
I was like, "Well god forbid me try to be responsable."
But its over and done with.
The moral of the story is:
If you drive a car thats almost the same age as you, don't lock the doors in the winter...or ever...just risk getting your stuff be stolen. Because, honestly, who is gonna break into a '94 Buick Century?
Someone desperate.
Really desperate.
Like...A DESPERATE HOUSEWIFE!!!
....
Wow....that was lame....
I'm just gonna shut up now......
BUT NOT UNTIL I DO MY SONG OF THE MOMENTO!!!!!!!!!!!
So for this post, I actually have 2 songs.
Because both are equally amazing cover songs of songs I already love.
The first one is a cover of Since U Been Gone- A Day to Remember. (Originally Kelly Clarkson)
Connor sent me this one and I was like, "Dude, I hate you...thanks for getting me addicted to this song. I hope you fall off a cliff."
(That, of course my way of saying, awesome song. You have amazing taste in music.)
The second one is a cover of Cry Little Sister- Aiden (Originally Gerard McMann)
I've loved this song since I was a little tator-tot.
One of my favorite movies is The Lost Boys and I've been watching it since i was old enough to walk.
So thats my post for the day...
Yeah...
